Oh wow, what a spectacular observation. I have never seen a twitch like that in the lower part of their bodies. But then again, I have only slugged out so far. I am interested in what the experienced breeders think.

Most likely spontaneous contractions in preparation for birth from the uterus - I think you'll find it is like a Braxton Hicks contraction in humans. Thanks for posting.

I agree with scott,ive seen this in very late term animals before,you have done well to see it and more so get it on film,as my oldest kunanurra lass normally stops when I try to film it and thinks my fone looks like something worth biting,lol,in short shes a nut job at that time of season

ive had females being covered for almost that length of time,i got to 6 weeks for one girl and male was still keen but she wasgetting a smidgen roughed up ,she ebded up dropping slugs ,two other girls went 5 weeks and a gain i stopped pairing at same time as first girl,they started a week later and both of them had healthy litters,o tend to count from last observed matings but do try and keep track from first and last out of curiosity to,as nine dont normally go for that length of time but during that period it got ultra cold,mine go in middle of winter on average so the cold seemed to keep theee windows open alot longer

She has a good temperament, never fought the male, so he was able to mate without problems.
At the end of February she became a monster when the male was near her, so i stopped it

They mated every 3-4 ( max 7 ) days, with successful insertions and fails every now and then
Talking about the weather, we had a cold winter this year ( regarding our standards )
