I noticed this a few days ago on Lenny's mouth but it's not going away. It's hard to tell in the picture but it sticks out almost like it's slightly swollen and it's brown. I'm not sure how to fix it or if it'll go away on its own.

It looks like a damaged scale. I think it's fine to wait it out until his next shed as long as it doesn't look like it's swelling or getting inflamed. If it's turning pink or red along the edges it's best to have a vet take a look at it.
