Gravid?

I just got a female merauke that appears to be gravid. Can meraukes be gravid this early in the season?

Being that they ate largelu still wild caught imports,yes they certainlu can be gravid at this time of year,in nature id hazard to guess alot have already recently had babies

I cant tell if your specimen is gravid,could just be a nice plump one,does look to be a female so you never know really

Never know! Mine looks the same but is just fat....but if that one was a recent import it is indeed possible! They don't usually come in that hefty! Do you know any of the history?
