My Breeding Season is off to a great start!

Postby Scincoides » Thu Jan 01, 2015 8:53 pm

Even though im having a hard time keeping my temps up high enough, im still having some great luck with pairings this week. Ive had 3 northern pairs lock up, 1 eastern pair, and 1 pair of Ijs. Add that to the six pairs of meraukes that bred for me, and i could already have 11 litters on the way with less than a quarter of my females bred. Im sure i wont get that lucky, but still, im pretty excited. And to give credit where credit is due, i couldnt have done any of this without Mr. Ray Gurgui in florida, who sat on the phone with me for hours on dozens of occasions giving me all the advice he could to make sure that this year was a hit. Then of course Jeff is always around to answer my stupid question texts regardless of the hour. Thanks guys :D

Good stuff Austin - you're off to an early start! I will not be pairing mine up until late Feb...

Austin,i reckon yout struggling to keep the temps up is also benefitting you,bit of coolness in the air can keep a females window open longer, tiliqua breed best before temps hit there peaks, peak temps for buns in the oven
