Re: Nothern Skink Question
I'm not sure about Northerns, but this thread talks about some monster Meraukes that are 29+ inches: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26901

Re: Nothern Skink Question
Meraukes I think tend to get the longest because their tails tend to be pretty long. However, northerns can get pretty large as well. If you search on here, I think you can find some that are in the high 20's and I believe you might even find one thats in the 30 inch range. Typically they'll be around 21-24ish inches. So no, northerns are not notoriously the largest of the blue tongues, but they can still reach pretty large lengths.
Theres also a list of reputable breeders somewhere here on this site, you may have to look in the classified section for it. Baby season isn't until the summer time here in the states though, so you may have to wait till then if you're looking for a baby. But check the classifieds on this site, a lot of reputable breeders post there!

Northerns are the largest, but not the longest.

Re: Nothern Skink Question
What Dakota said as "biggest" and "largest" usually refers to weight and not length.
Northerns are big chunky bricks compared to the typically long and lean Meraukes.
