Reptile expo

Postby splashy07 » Tue Oct 21, 2014 8:46 am

Hi everyone, just thought I'd share this one....was at the Long Island Reptile expo 19th helping out friends at Repxotica's table, had to visit my friend Vin Russo as he was holding a few snakes for me....what do I see at his table? The biggest Shingleback I have ever seen! I almost passed out at the sight. Went back minutes later to take a picture and he was already sold for four grand. I told Vin I was just about to go outside and put a for sale sign on my truck and walk home with him.................but he was already sold. Took about 10 minutes. Was an absolute joy to see, though.
Not many BT's there, a few Meraukes, IJ's and three baby northerns.

What subspecies.. rugosa or aspera?

I'd like to see a Shingleback in person. If I stumbled upon one, I would definitely get light-headed. And I'm not even that big of a fan of the pine cone lizard.
