New BTS baby
Hey everyone. New to the site. I just got a baby northern from Donna at captive bred excellence. Great baby. I've had hime for 2 weeks now. His name is Loki. Super friendly. Already eating from my fingers. This is the first reptile I've owned in about 4 years. I had an Iryan Jaya for about 14 years along time ago. I'm happy to care for one again. Here's a few picks of Loki eating.

Re: New BTS baby
Welcome!
And wow, what a screaming gorgeous Northern you have there!
It is amazing that he seems to eat his veggies that well already. You do feed him protein in some form as well, right? In my opinion, growing babies can really use a bit more than the 50% protein recommended in the food chart.
Happy for you that your little tyke seems friendly. Hope you have lots of fun with little Loki --he won't be little for long, as you may well know.

Re: New BTS baby
I also bought mine from Donna last October. My little guy is already a year old! Donna raises some good animals. Mine has been really healthy, eats well, receptive to handling, and has never bitten on purpose (he did chomp my fingers when he was a baby thinking they were food). If I get a chance to buy another skink, it will be from Donna.
Enjoy the new addition and welcome to the forums!

Beautiful northern!

Yep he is getting his protein. That's some scramble egg mixed in there. I've been giving him that and high quality cat food mixed with some veggies and over course calcium and D3 supplements. Growing really fast. When I got him he was as long as my hand. Now he's up to my wrist.
