blue tongue threat display video

Postby Spindown » Tue Jul 01, 2014 2:46 pm

Sorry for the bad quality of video, but I get so sad whenever I hear of blueys being rehomed, or sitting in petstores because they are "aggressive". This is what an upset skink looks like. No, I didnt do anything to him, he just HATES being outside :noknow:

This is Zergling, my indonesian. PS, he's not attacking me, but he did decide I was the safest place in the yard

Awesome video, and amazing Indonesian! Maxx, my Halmahera did such an amazing display while outside one time, wish I could have gotten it on video like you did.

This is a really good example of the threat display. I'm torn between my instinct to help the, seemingly, poor animal and my automatic awe at the behavior. I'll definitely use this as an example if the need ever arises.

I've never seen either of my BTS display. Coomassie once jumped three feet in the air because I scared him, but never displayed. This video is really cool.
