Mixed feeling

Looking after Yig is a mixed feeling...He's a great pet,quite,strong and gentle...Last year my aunt said I should keep a pet,and she can give me a little kitty.I like cat and dog but I don't like take care of them...and then I thought,why not a lizard?I took some time did some research,and decided to keep a yang blue tongue...
When Yig arrived,I noticed he got a broken toe,the joint seems been crashed...other than that,he's perfectly healthy.But every time he shed,the toe bleed...that make me worried a lot.No good reptile vet make me feel helpless,and Yig refused to let me bandage the toe...but I think he know what‘s the best,for the wound recovered couple months later,he lost the toe tip,but that won't hurt any more... and then I find here,learned a lot more,and the nervous seems gone for ever,left only happiness and contentment...
Well,until last month when I noticed the mysterious red part on his head...the nervous back,and I don't know what should I feel about it...He still looks very healthy,I still like to take photos of him,but I fear that something bad would happen,and I would be helpless again...
The vet said that the red blister will dissolve,but I think he's not sure about that since he even don't know Yig is a BTS when the last time I visited him...but if he's right,I think I would laugh at me in the present again...

Sounds about right. That's what its like to have a pet But its all worth it in the end.

It's not a very good reptile vet if he did not know your lizard was a Blue Tongue Skink. But all we can do as pet owners is do what we think is best for our pets, no matter what type of pet that they may be. But your not being paranoid you just see a problem and are trying to fix it, and your doing it the right way too.

thanks...I do paranoid a lot,if you see me years ago,you would think I was crazy...a lot better now...
I think the problem here is not many people know a lot about lizard,and very few people know the Blue Tongue Skink...one man I met in clinic think Yig is a serpent even after see the legs
