BTS and Applesauce?

Way back when I had a beardie, one of his favorite treats was sugar free applesauce. If fruit is 10% of a healthy skink's diet, can I use this natural applesauce to fulfill the tenth of his diet?

I would rather feed real fruit than applesauce, and if you cannot get that then I would just omit fruit from the diet all together.

I use sugar-free applesauce and fruit-sauces as a treat once in a while. It's fine to use, but is very mucky, so it can make a mess. I go around after and make sure no one has sauce stuck on their mouths.

well that's also the reason I don't use the sauce any more...BST don't need a lot of fruit for dinner,I just throw a piece of banana or mango in the food twice a month...some time use berries...I just eat the rest...It's good for your health,too...

I very rarely add fruits to my meals - usually I use it as it's own stand-alone meal/snack, and even then I only offer fruits about once a month. My favourite fruit dish is a plate of several types of fruits in bite-size pieces - it's neat to see who eats what fruits (I love that every skink has it's own likes/dislikes).
