Both my BTS are in my bedroom. Generally, I go to bed well after their lights are off. They don't seem to mind. They sleep when they want which is usually went the lights are off....and when the lights are one....pretty much any time they aren't eating or begging to come out.

It‘s dark in the hides,I think it won't be a problem...but some time I also put a towel on the tank...

I remember reading a study on shinglebacks; their activity levels were determined by temperature rather than light levels.

If you give them enough substrate, they will be buried anyway so won’t know the lights are on. Turning your hides the right way to block the light is good too, but as long as they can bury themselves the light won’t be a problem.
