Vile stench from skink poop

Pomelo woke up from winter sleep 14 days ago. I fed him a meal last friday consisting of mealworms (intended for Litchie to fatten him up) and dog food.
Since tuesday my room has smelled like something died here, like cat urine or like moldy teabags. Something of a pleasant mix thereof.

I told my parents it couldnt possibly be my skink and that i mustve forgotten a cup or a cat snuck in. It was a very strong odour and i couldnt tell from where it originated.

He has pooped 3 times, and 3 times has the smell been completely overwhelming. It is also the third time i clean his tank, which i do right away. When i opened his tank today i literally confirmed it was indeed Pomelo who was the culprit.

So, now i am considering taking him to the vet, but id like to hear if you all have ever experienced anything like this before. Pomelo is very active, very happy and basks and digs and is curious. Nothing apart from the smell seems odd, other than that hes usually in a bad mood.

I am very thankful for any input. I currently cannot sleep at night, or drink tea in front of my computer. it smells too much

Strange. The only times I've gotten really smelly poops have been after feeding banana, egg, or added more/new greens to their diet. I do seem to remember there being a very strong odor when I was dealing with a mild case of pinworms... If you are able, maybe a fecal test might be in order.
This is the first time he has brumated with you, right? So maybe a slight parasite infestation got a stronger hold while he slept?

If he had some undigested food in him during brumation, it’s possible that this is what is coming out right now and smelling like death. If that is the cause though, it should stop smelling very soon. It should only be a few poops before all the nasty stuff is gone. My guess is that this will be the case, but if not, it might be a good idea to go in for a check up.

This is the first full winter with him. I'll give him another meal and another substrate change tomorrow, and then see if it gets better during the week. If it doesn't ill call the vet and get an appointment for a fecal exam for him.
He is still in terribly good spirits, which is why im not so worried. Even if he's more skunk than skink.
