interesting gravid blotch behaviour

Ive brought a couple of gravid blotchies and an eastern indoors,weathers been poxy last 3 days and western females sick of me eyeballing her and muttering hurry up and pop,lol

The 2 year old bluemountains lass is getting agitated,pacing around a fair bit but then stops and checks out its butt area and lower tummy for a while,nudging and gently nipping at lower tummy area,turning circles and concentrating big time on that area

Perhaps its freaking out a bit being her first time,its quite entertaining,and something ive never seen in blueys,yes im spending way to much time observing,lol

Ml,these are only in the presence of females,2 blotch girls and an eastern,all late termers,though ive given up predicting when things will drop,lol

She lifts her tail at the vent when checking that area to,and nudges her guts,poking and prodding then gently nips at it,cases the area out for a couple of minutes then goes pacing again

Tail base lifting is normal during birth, maybe they have Braxton hicks like contractions ?

Not sure scott,a possability i guess,ive seen similar with water skinks years ago,but included leg biting as well,last season my major skibk female was doing it to,and biting at tail area,unlike the waterskinks though,no babies came,possably slugs
