Breakfast time pics!

Postby Teacup » Sun Jan 12, 2014 9:02 am

Apologies that these aren't the best in quality. I borrowed my husband's camera, which I'm not used to and is also SUPER heavy (gave me shaky hands!). I still wanted to share, though. :)

And that was all I could get! We just put him into his new tank and he is spending a lot of time hiding. I know he'll adjust in time, though. :)

Cutie, cutie! :)

How well do you like that substrate? I'm thinking about switching to it..

I feel like I can't fairly answer that since we just started using it yesterday!

I will say that I like it so far; only time will tell re. how Peaches feels about it. It holds moisture well, should not discolour, and there was almost NO dust when we first emptied the bag. Plus, it looks very natural. :) Once Peaches gets braver and starts exploring/burrowing, I'll let you know what he thinks of it.

What is the substrate? Peaches looks so serious in the first two photos... In #4 and #5 pupils have dilated. Looking good.

They are lovely pictures, just natural and not intrusive. Great photos for seeing them enjoy their food!

Your Peaches is looking good. Thanks for the reply about the substrate. Are you still liking it?

My little Merauke is looking good too. She has grown just a little and has lightened up another shade in color. Thanks for asking.

Thanks! He is shedding, right now, and is not eating as much. I miss seeing him chow down! He has a voracious appetite. :)

Glad to hear your little one is doing well! Last weekend, the breeder was back at the latest Repticon and I checked out his new clutch of Meraukes. All super cute!

I do like the substrate, so far. :) Peaches really likes digging through it and it's super easy to spot-clean. It also holds moisture well, which has been great due to this super dry winter we are having.
