Freezing food

Just wondering if I mixed in the multi vitamins and then freezed the food would any thing happen to them? I was reading that freezing veggies loses thamie or something like that and that adding multi vitamins would help. Can I add them before?

I would just add them afterwards; that way you can actually see how much your skink is ingesting. It doesn't really save any labor by adding it before freezing, so I'm not sure why you would want to.

Id add it after,who knows if it breaks down with the freezing/thawing process

I've been adding them in before freezing. Been feeding my guy this way for the past week or so. He devours his meal within minutes of me putting it in there. I have not noticed any ill effects as of yet.

Kind of need more than a week or so to know if it breaks down with freezing

With the thawing process uou lose a bit of liquid in the process so with powder disolving one would assume it would come out abit in that,plus it could break down anyhow,miggt not though,but adding after thawing takes awau the guessing as its hard to tell what happens

We know for sure that thiamine/B1 is missing after it is frozen, so a diet with frozen vitamins is surely deficient in that.
