Feeding Baby Bluey & Calciumg D3 Supplement
I have a 3-1/2 mo old Northern (a James Wilson baby) who seems to be thriving. Just thought I'd check in with a few questions ... I've been feeding him daily and he eats heartily. He doesn't seem to overeat as there's always a little left over. I sprinkle his food (premium grade dog food with occasional fruit treats) with a calcium/low D3 supplement every other day. I have a UVB lamp in in his terrarium about 16 hours day. He's growing like a weed and has a nicely shaped full body. Are daily feedings okay or too much? When should I be reducing his feedings? Are the alternating daily calcium/low d3 supplement ok or should I be giving it to him daily? Or less frequently? Any input would be appreciated. Overall he seems happy and healthy, but I know as he grows and gets older things will need to be adjusted.

At the top of the food chart, it tells you how often you should be feeding. At 3 months, you can start feeding every other day instead of daily. Light for 16 hours is okay, but a 12 hour light cycle would be better.

I feed my babies the same age twice a week at this point. I will continue that until they are about 9 months old. At that point I will feed them once a week like the adults.
