Well, regardless, something pushes up after a meal. Especially if the skink is already heavy set, and after a good meal. Happened to Xaunder when she was on the heavier side. I posted a thread about it.

Given that this skink appears to be in pretty good shape, I'm personally not too worried about the possible MBD. Feed a healthy diet, and supplement with calcium+D3 regularly, and I don't believe it will be an issue. I think (note: I'm not an expert) that it's likely a past issue, so the bump will always be there but it shouldn't cause problems.

I agree with Fatal; right now, it's more about preventing any possible problems than having to treat MBD.

How do you post them without sizing or through a photo hosting website??

I upload them as attachments. The site posts a smaller version in the thread in which users can click on it to go full scale.

Oh, mine are only 1 mb or so in size. My camera phone shoots 8 MP photos. Didn't know there was a size limit. I used Gimp when photos need resizing. Works like Photoshop, only free.

I've bee feeding my new BTS Nature's Recipe brand canned dog food. I believe I got the chicken and turkey flavor. He really seems to enjoy every bit of it. In fact, when I took his empty dish away, he gave that "I''m not done yet" look. Then he hid the rest of the day... The contents of the food reminds of canned soup. Here are the contents:

Vegetable Broth, Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Chicken Fat, Turkey, Modified Food Starch, Tomato Paste, Tricalcium Phosphate, Sugar, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Beta-Carotene, Folic Acid, Choline Chloride, Zinc Glycine Complex, Iron Glycine Complex, Copper Glycine Complex, Manganese Glycine Complex, Sodium Selenite, Potassium Iodide, Parsley and Natural Flavor.

When I am through this can, I may switch to this tubed dog food called Freshpet Vital Recipes Turkey Dog Food. It has more non-meat variety than the other stuff. Unless this has something my BTS shouldn't consume. Contents:

Well, the Freshpet stuff has spinach as its third ingredient; I thought spinach was one of the Never feed items, but I don't see it on the diet chart anymore... Did I miss something, somewhere?

Well, bummer. I was hoping the Freshpet food would be a healthier product due to the variety of its contents. However, since spinach is a no go for BTS's, then I'll have to find something else.
