Re: Which Locality is this ?
Thank you, I'm really happy with it !
Do you think it is pure northern? Because it doesn't really look like a typical one.

Re: Which Locality is this ?
I would say that is a likely northern x Irian Jaya cross.

Re: Which Locality is this ?
It looks very unusual, but I don't have any experience with Northerns, so definitely listen to Jeff (and others who know Northerns).

Re: Which Locality is this ?
On another forum, they also said it could be an intermedia X irian jaya crossing, so there is a big possibility it is one.

Re: Which Locality is this ?
I would guess this is an animal from the line of patternless Northerns which actually have Northern x Irian Jaya blood. They seem to be making rounds in Europe. I was worried this would happen.

Jeff's right !
T.S. Intermedia X T. S. SSP
Northern X Irian Jaya
The Patternless BTS are siblings to these. And Their were some for sale as Reduced Pattern Eastern's without the black on the sides.
critterguy ! They are already in the U.S. Been here for 4 years. Just haven't been bred .... yet !

Heres a comparison shot of an Ij and a Northern. Not the best pic, but you can clearly see traits from both species in that animal.

Valley, he looks more of an IJ than a northern to me. As for samaneca's skink, clearly he gets traits from both species. Good-looking skink nonetheless.

Re: Which Locality is this ?
To clarify, the animal in my hand in the picture is an Irian Jaya, the one in the tub is a Northern. I wanted to do an actual side by side photo, but the Northern wasn't having it. He seemed to think that I was trying to feed him an Irian jaya
