when do blue tongues stop growing?

so the blue tongue I am looking at getting is actually already 2 and is 42cm I know they can get longer but when will he not get any larger

When he dies. 8) Reptiles continue to grow for their entire life. The rate of growth become extremely slow once they reach adult size though. A BTS will typically reach adult size at between 12-36 months depending mostly on how much it is fed. I have not seen one grow noticeably after 3 years, but I suppose it could be possible under unusual circumstances.
