Calcium
Trying to determine which is better for a growing skink, Reptivite with d3 or Repti Calcium with d3? She is being finicky about eating her greens so while I work my magic in the food department I have been supplementing Repti Calcium with d3. Which is better....GO!

Re: Calcium
Generally Ca derived from crushed oyster (or other molusc) shell will be better than that from other sources. This may be included on the lable.
If you wait, all that happens is that you get older. M. Andretti

Re: Calcium
Reptivite provides a broad range of vitamins, as well as D3 and calcium, whereas reptical D3 is just calcium and D3. It really depends on your diet and what your blue tongue requires. If your diet is varied and nutritious, the need for most vitamins becomes obsolete and you end up using a product that is of no actual benefit.
As a calcium and D3 supplement, I would go for reptical, as the product would have a larger amount of calcium and D3 per gram than a broad spectrum multivitamin. I can't find the specific quantities of calcium for reptical, so I can't compare to reptivite, but it's likely that the same goes for these products also.
Try to identify what you want to supplement with the diet you give and select the product accordingly.
