Help! Skink swallowed cypress mulch

Help! Skink swallowed cypress mulch

I just saw my northern blue tongue skink swallow three pieces of cypress mulch! I was lowering some food into his cage and a clump slid off the plate. It fell on his mulch and he ate some fairly big pieces. I'm concerned because the cypress mulch is pretty long and jagged. Is there anything I can feed him to help it pass? Should I just wait 2-3 days to see if it passes? I'm really worried about him! :( :cry: please help!

Watch him carefully and check his poop. Often times, a little substrate won't hurt them. If three pieces of mulch could hurt a skink, I think they would be extinct in the wild by now. Just make sure that food is still going in his mouth and poop is still coming out the other end, and you're fine.
