Lea, I house nearly 30 animals in my bedroom. It can be done...

I will clear out a place in out garage while everyone is sleeping, since they wanted to clean everything out when we were dine unpacking.. but I will have Dad help me move them this week in the garage where there will be plenty of room to give the caging a "not to cram" look to the room.

I told my Dad about the situation is he said he is still behind me every step of the way..

I realize that you care for the skinks.. and my feeling.. but people just have to trust me on this. I have what it takes.. I promise.

I do trust you and your good intentions and I hope we can support you whatever lies ahead. It isn't about my trust, though, it's more of what we are practically able to cope with, whoever we are, myself included. And please don't take my remarks personally, I would question and query anything that could influence the welfare of our skinks, I just want to be sure you have complete understanding of what's ahead so you can make good, informed choices.

Please keep us up to date with everything. It is of course, very exciting that she's gravid. I'm glad she has an owner with a big heart, just be sure to cover every possible scenario in your head before the birth, just to make certain you are as prepared as you can be.

There's is no way to predict how many babies she will have, if any. I would buy as many complete set-ups as you can to be ready, since you plan on breeding anyway whether Virginia IS gravid now or not.

She might have 0, or she might have 20 xD anything inbetween that.
sorry on being late to finding my way back to the thread, the two new skinks look awesome.

i just need to ask.......did you forget about the quarantine period completely?
i housed my second skink in a room far away from my other skink for nearly 4 months, so id avoid paying double vet bills.
im not saying theyre ill or anything, but theyve been through a lot the past 48hours, enough stress can trigger pretty much anything.

No, she is in quarantine. I just could do it on the opposite end of the house.. I am watching her every step.. o-o as with Hunter, also.

She has been basking non-stop.. should I use a night lamp for her? ..or jut go with the 12 hour cycle still?
