My Introduction and Centralian Blue-Tongued Skink Request!

Hello! Bluetongueskinks.net My name is MrSpeedyPanda or David
I have an Eastern Blue-Tongued Skink, named Lewi and a Northern Blue-Tongued Skink, named Lindsay.

I'm interested in Centralians, they have an odd body shape and very nice colours. They also look like have a very nice temper.

as a rule they are a more timid species of bluetongue,more shy,but they are great,quite different to the other species

TYVM, do they tend to run and hide alot?

some are flighty like other blueys,mine normally just look at me,some will huff a bit,one comes over with mouth open to bite,maybe food oriented,usually when u picm them up they are calm,but renowned for peeing on you

I haven't been peed on yet. lol but Dad has, pooped and peed on.

But unfortunately he is the only Centralian I have had the pleasure of meeting

Zeke went through a phase of peeing - But I started wrapping him up in a clothe before lifting him up, then when he was in my arms taking it away and he was perfectly fine. He definitely isnt as outgoing and adventurous as my shingles and westerns Ive had/met, but hes quite happy to just sit on my lap and stuff like the dog or kids looking at him through the glass doesnt phase him.

I think it depends on the shingleback. I have some more active, whereas a few of them could have a brass band and a thunderstorm happen around them and they'd still be sleeping!

Centralians are incredible. I've not had the pleasure of owning one, but practically fall of my chair looking at the pictures on here. Richard has some beautiful animals, but Nae has a recent thread about her centralian, Zeke, too!
