Unique pattern on new little baby?

Postby StaceyLeigh » Fri May 03, 2013 2:48 pm

My littlest baby seems to have a different pattern that the others, much wider bans, different coloring. Kind of reminds me of Mel's Bomber.

I thought the same thing when I saw those pics! Very cool. I don't have the best memory, how has Bomber progressed? Does he/she appear more classic now or still unique?

I don't think I've told you yet, CONGRATS!!!

How many are you thinking about keeping?

Bomber is in this thread:

Reminds me more of an Eastern than a Northern.

He does look very similar to baby Bomber:

Interesting. Can't wait to see how he develops.

What's the history of the parents?

Both parents are Northern, Thor was bred by Tula Girl from this forum. Calypso I purchased as an adult from someone on the forum, She had purchased her from a breeder through a Reptile Expo in TX. Most all the other babies look pretty classically Northern, just lighter or darker in coloration. This one is very interesting and I am considering keeping him to see how he develops. Bomber is stunning by the way!

If you decide to let him go, please let me know. I've got a few other skinks I plan to try Bomber with in 2014, but if this baby looks anything like him I would definitely love another bloodline. How big is your little guy? Bomber was born at 7g (his siblings at ~14g) and still had his placenta attached. I think he's stopped growing now, so I need to get a new weight and length. He seems smaller than my other adults.

He was the runt at 11g, all the other siblings were 13g up to 29g, most were in the mid-20s. I can't believe how big some of them were! I promise I will let you know if I don't keep him, very much undecided right now.

Monitorlizard!!! Stop answering for other people! You need to give them a chance! Grrr, you drive me nuts. Waiting only minutes and jumping in, is just plain rude. Mind your manners.
