So I have had my shingle for 12 days now and them seem to have settled OK considering they have had to downsize there living quarter to a 4 foot enclosure. They have been eating my veg/dog food mix twice a week plus the odd few super worms or woodies in between. It's been warm in Melbourne the last eight days, the temps inside the enclosure with all light off we're 31C for the majority of the day.
The substrate is fine coconut coir and they bury themselves for most of the day. Problem is I have not seen any poop in the enclosure at all so far. Is this normal? Do they poop when they're buried in the substrate or do they need to be above to poop. I have dug my hand through the substrate but I have not smelt anything unpleasant either.

Re: My shinglebacks have arrived
I got home last night saw a small poo. Hooray! Never thought I would be so relieved to see lizard poo.
It wasn't much but at least it's a start.

Re: My shinglebacks have arrived
All is well now, I have had to clean up poop the last three days now ao very relieved.
Thought I would post up some pics of them.
I don't have many photos of the female as she always hides and is not much of a poser.
