I am so sorry Cathy, I would be devastated, I think what you have done is an absolutely lovely way to remember Wyatt. My thoughts are with you Mate.

The cremation and return of ashes is a really respectful way to remember any passed pet. We have had six of ours treated in the same manner and placed the ashes of a couple who had strong bonds with each other in the same wooden casket. There are some kindly people in the the pet cremation business and I really glad you were able to find such good people, it helps to know they treat your pet with respect. You might like to consider having a simple polished brass plaque made and attached to the casket.

I am sorry you lost Wyatt but you now have a lovely way to remember him.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have only had my bluey Sly since November and I can only imagine how I would feel if he passed away. They are such a huge part of our lives and are truly family. I hope for the best as you go through the healing process. *hug*

That's so sad, but what a beautiful story. I could really feel your love for him reading your posts. Its so very cool they made a foot impression for you. I knew they did that for digs but had know idea they would do that for a bluey.

Thanks for sharing your story. Its hard to lose a pet you were so close with. Unfortunately its an inevitable thing we will all have to deal with one day. Its the price we have to pay for all the love we receive when they are still with us.
