Absence, New Pictures of Indah

Postby Kbell31 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 3:26 pm

Hey everyone, I have not posted in a long while. I still think about my online skink loving family and am glad to report Indah is doing great. She has even shed alittle bit of weight as I cut back her feeding to once a week. It has been about 1 year since I treated her for pinworms and I think I may go ahead and do it again soon. Is it a safe bet to do this once a year, regardless of lack of symptoms?
Here are some new pics I took today of her.

Everytime I post pictures, the general response is she is a chunk! LOL...
Can anyone answer my question about the deworming?

Thanks (;
Right now she is fussing bc she wants attention. She always does the same things when she wants out, it starts with the nose rubbing and then she will knock her water bowl over and make a mess /:

She's so massive and beautiful.

Deworming is a pretty safe procedure, so it can be done regularly if the owner wants. However it's not really needed unless you have reason to believe she may have come into contact with contaminated feces or still has IPs from last time. I happen to prefer deworming semi-regularly, and deworming any newcomers. That's just me though.

Thank you Melanie.

I was nervous about deworming before but now after I have done it and it was relatively easy wout any weird side effects Im pretty confident its a safe and smart thing to do.
