Close encounter of the cute kind

Thought some people might appreciate this.

Here is a young T.rugosa aspera near my house in Central Victoria that I came across yesterday while out riding my bike. Normally when I find them, I dont have my phone with me but managed to get some shots this time and some video.

Nice one scott,looks similar color wise to my youngest one,bit lighter though,think mine are from closer to the great dividing range

Some of the males here are very light coloured,the ground is littered with quartz so they blend in. Although there is a lot of variation even in this area, some are nearly black.

Jeff no, I prefer just to admire them in the wild, rescue them off the road where I can.
