i thought i'd ask around if i should be worried about following:
pihka has always been quite the digger and digs around her terrarium almost everyday. lately she's been sneezing, not very much though but several times during the day. i'm quite positive that some of it might just be the dust that gets into her nostrils. it doesn't seem like there's discharge, at least not wet. but today i noticed the right nostril looks a bit odd, i don't know if it's crust or dust. i use aspen chips as bedding but currently there's also dry exo terra plantation soil (coconut husk) in her terrarium (leftovers from my leopard gecko's soil). the plantation soil has sunk to the bottom and it's dusty so i thought that might be part of the reason for sneezing.
i got worried and thought if the sneezing and the norstril are signs of respiratory infection.
ambient temperature in her terrarium is around 24.4ºC (75.920ºF) and basking spot 37.6ºC (99.680ºF), night time temperature is 23ºC (73.40ºF). she's eating properly and seems healthy otherwise.
should i take her to the vet?
edit: looking at the photos, i noticed there's a bit stuck shed around the nostril (she shed recently), could this also be a reason for the sneezing?
edit2: temperature typo corrected.
i took photos of the nostril and the plantasion soil in the bedding:
