cooked or raw squash ?

Postby lemon1 » Sun Sep 23, 2012 2:58 pm

Do you give your skink raw or cooked squash. I always give it raw but I am wondering if it's better cooked. My baby IJ has only eaten a quail egg in 2 weeks. He is 8 weeks old. I thought I would try some squash and see how that goes.

From my understanding you can feed it cooked or raw, the one time I fed squash I cooked it.

I have always fed it uncooked. Don't know if that's right or wrong! I just figured the other veggies are uncooked... I blend acorn squash, collard greens, mustard greens and dog food in a food processor together. They love the mixture! The reptile store near my house is getting dubia (sp?) roaches in a week and I will give them some of those too! ...I wont blend those up though! ;)

I give Jarvis uncooked butternut squash all the time.

He picks it out and eats it first, he loves it.
