New and close to shedding may have kept it in hiding,orobably more so being in a new place,if only hide is in the cool end he may be to lethargic to wake up to,its good to offer a few hides from warm to cool end,lets them choose temp to hide in to,deep substrate can rectify that to

oh thanks, that's good to know....I'll add another hide in the warmer end of his tank so he has that option. He has been out much more and spending more time in the warm end since the shed so that's good also. Thanks again for the tips! :thanks:

I was freaked out that mine only hid to! But I figured out a way he can get to know me better while hiding so I just grab a blanket in a warm room and let him hide and chill with me and when he gets cold I warm him up with my hand :)
