Healthiest Vegetables?

Hm, so I had a random thought. I've seen different health charts and such and know different things that are good for them to eat, but what would you put on a list of top 5 healthiest vegetables/greens for a bluey?

Squash, collard greens, dandelion greens, mustard greens, sweet potato. That last one I'm not sure of, but the skinks really like them so I added it. The first four I use lots of, but I try to aim for variety in my meals.

Kale is higher in several nutrients than collard greens.

Kale is another I use often. My monkey tails love flowering kale - I just tie a whole bunch to the branch and they go to town. Hmm, I should go buy some more for them.

Is Kale also known as tuscan cabbage? just that no one where i live knows what it is and when i ask if the store has it all i get is a funny look

I might have to go to a veggie nursery and ask them, might be the only place to find it. My skinks are so fussy, would be nice to try something different they might actually like without having to blend it all in a blender

This is a great time of year for veggies in the northern hemisphere, they're plentiful and cheap.

One variety of kale is called Tuscan kale, black kale, curly kale or in Italian, Cavolo Nero.

I believe some call it Tuscan cabbage as it is cruciferous the same as cabbage but differs in that the leaves grow straight and don't fold over to form a tight head as in other cabbages. The leaves are crinkly and can vary in colour from dark green, through to a dark blue tinge bordering on black. It has a Ca:P of 2.4:1

so its a pretty good veggie to feed them then. i might call around with those many different names you just gave me XD thank you maybe growing it would be a better option. I heard its quite easy to grow

Calvalo nero,,really..yay. We have that at work and I never thought of using it. I am usually just taking home beet greens,arrugula and swiss chard. Never thought of chard having that much nutrition.

Kale is available here as kale, however your best bet would be to go to places like organic markets. I am not aware of alternative names however~!

That's almost exactly what I use very often. Although I've never tried feeding mine sweet potato, but I bet they do love it lol. Yea variety is good, that's why I was asking to try to get some ideas of something different.
