Hi All,
So, both of my skinks are having loose stools this week. I don't think I've changed anything. It's my understanding that BTS are supposed to have small formed stools with white urates that accompany it. Am I right?
This week their stools have not been formed. They are soft and unformed. They both pooped earlier today. (they ate yesterday) My brother came over tonight and wanted to see them/hold them. After all the handling Stubbs had a really runny stool and made a disgusting mess of his tank and tank mate!
I feed them acorn squash, collard greens, mustard greens and cat food all mashed together. In their last feeding I did add in some blueberries, now that I think of it and maybe a little more cat food than usual. Could that have caused diarrhea? Could there be something else "off" in their environment that I should be thinking about? Should I be concerned? Does this happen from time to time?
Please let me know your thoughts. If this doesn't subside tis week I will get them into the vet.
