Feeding mix...

I am a pastry chef at a restuarant and have access to all organic fruits and vegs which is great for my new BTS.
Right now i am cooking turkey and freezing it. then i have separate bags of chopped veggies and greens in the fridge. So in the morning i thaw turkey and mix with the the veggis/greens and calcium. Sound like a good combo?
Could I mix it all together and freeze and thaw. Or would that ruin the value of the veggies? I heard it can do that.
I also add alittle soaked oats and fruit every now and then.

I mix it all together and freeze it. I put the veggies (depending on the season, what looks good, and what we are eating) in a small food processor and then mix in dog food. I have tiny salad dressing containers that I put it in. Every week, I thaw one and feed.

so you freeze the veggies in the mix?
i heard that ruins the vitamins....

I thought I hear the same thing also about the veggies.. I also know some people that freeze there food in ice trays. Myself I just mix enough in the processor to lest a few days in the fridge. But as far as the veggies in the freezer I don't think ruins much of anything since you can buy frozen veggies to begin with.

its really cool you are able to get such food - both for yourself and for the bluey. id love to see photos of some of the finished bluey dishes

i do not freeze the veggies or salad types. yes it does ruin the nutritional value, i do not know how much but i can recall a thread about it not too long ago...wait for more info on that.

about the turkey, you might want to feed other meats sometimes since the calcium value is quite low - even with added calcium powder.

I freeze the dog food into cubes and sometimes some veggies, but mostly the dog food and then just add to it when I want to feed it.
