in light of a recent thread it made me start thinking if i should start growing my own kale and collard greens
is their anything wrong with that

I grow Collards from Spring thru fall. Our skinks seem to love the freshness.

This is a great idea! I am trying to price out if building a little hydro kit for greens would be cost efficient for the winter! We should have our own BTS Gardening tips thread!~

I grew some kale several years ago. After the first frost of the fall season the leaves became much sweeter.
My male isn't too keen on kale but perhaps he'd find fall kale more enticing :drool: .

Amazing idea!! :D Would be a good place for people to share what veggies are good to eat that aren't on this websites food chart to! :D
