lol at first when i saw the link i thought you were trying to feed a frog to your shingle :P
fly larvae sound gross...but I would assume since many other herps can eat them that they are not toxic. I'm not sure what the protein etc ratios are on maggots, but my guess is that it wouldnt hurt the bluey...
I'm sure some others will chime in with more knowledge :)

Those are known as phoenix worms or calci worm in the states are are quite popular due to the high calcium content. I think they are nasty though and none of my reptiles would eat them and the price is a little too steep for the small size of the maggot.

How mch are they in the states? If i get the bigger ones which are just called gents they are $10.50 for 7,500 and they are 1.5cm-2cm long roughly
