Eco and Trikks

Postby Fatal_S » Thu May 31, 2012 9:47 pm

I took my yellow Tanimbars outside for some sun and pictures.

Please note that while both have MBD symptoms, they're not as bumpy as they sometimes look in the photos. They just tend to sit perfectly still after I move them, and that usually means they're bent funny. Eco's MBD shows in her tail, Trikk's doesn't show much, but his legs are a bit wonky and so he has trouble moving quickly. They would be a pair if Trikks were able to do the deed, but as it is they are wonderful (if shy) pets.

Thank you for the kind words. Even I love how they glow in the photos. To the naked eye they tend to look more yellow-brown IMO. Still pretty, but not glowing like they do in bright light.

They hated being outside in the sun. They're hermits and would prefer if I only interacted to bring fresh food and water.

Absolutely beautiful skinks. How do your tannies compare to the typical tanny attitude?

Eco and Trikks are CBB. Both are quite shy. As a youngling Eco was really aggressive, but she's mellowed out now. Trikks is pretty laid back for a tanny.

They are so beautiful! And yeah, they look better in person. But just gorgeous little creatures!

Despite the MBD you can tell how well looked after and healthy they are. They are so nicely filled out and shiny. Love the colors!
