The Centralian Strut

Postby Nae » Mon May 28, 2012 4:21 am

Richard has mentioned a few times on odd way of walking common to Centralians, made even more comical by their wacky body:legs proportions

So, I set out to capture it on video! When Zeke finds a surface particularly odd, he stands up even taller, but this was the best I could get so far~

Guest starring my mum as 'Overprotective parent' (Zeke has her wrapped around his miniscule toesies - Yesterday mum was 'taking orders', so to speak, come lunch time, and wasnt at all perturbed and even actually cooked it when I ordered an extra egg for Zeke!)

Keeping in mind Zeke is the only centralian Ive had the pleasure of getting to know well, Id say the biggest difference would have to be that centralians tend to be a bit more skittish, where as a shingle comfortable in its situation doesnt have a care in the world

Centralian: Oh wow! What is that? I must go look at it!! Runrunrun, what is it? Smells funny! Im not sure - FOOD!
Shingles: What is that? Bring it to me, then I may look at it......Your not going to bring it over here? Fiiiiine....Ill go over there myself...Wait nope, this spot is comfortable, Im not interested in it anymore...

That happens with Skeeter too. He is doing something interesting (climbing - "playing" with something new) and when I get closer he stops. Its like "Hey, you don't have anyone looking through your roof - so some privacy please?"

But, could be just that my coming over distracts him from what he was doing - perhaps I am more interesting? - Nah he knows I am the one that feeds him
