 Read the earlier posts, I think Mel covered most of this.

It is worth it because it is the ONLY good scientific literature on BTS.

the way i see it,if u buy all the other books on bluetongues it costs more than the bluey bible but the info contained is pox in comparison, basic info and alot of second hand knowledge, some just pretty pics that are in the other books,eg the tfh published books

the bible in comparison is full of great info, some species arent covered as well as others, but compare this book to all the others combined, its a no brainer, all the authors actually work with and/or study these animals and the results are actually there findings, not info pilferred from other peoples works

Last time I saw it on Amazon, it was like $281. Zach was getting them in bulk and selling them for $100, so that was a good deal. At this point Edward has some available, so if anyone wants one DEFINITELY contact him. If you don't know how to get ahold of Edward, pm me and I will hook you up.

Got the book yesterday, Yeah! :ohyes: Thank you Edward, and all others who helped me find a copy of the "Bluey Bible" It looks awesome, just glanced through it yesterday, it is just what I was looking for! Now if I can just get my hands on it long enough to read it all the way through. My 10 year old was looking over my shoulder yesterday, saying "Cool, awesome, etc..... so it is probably already upstairs under his pillow

I had at least one college textbook that cost that much :( I'm guessing it was made more for the academic/scientific market rather than the mass market and that is why it is so expensive.

No, it's a SKINK not a SKUNK. Er, no, it's not a Blue Tongued Skank---although I do think I dated one of those at some point.

I think at one time there was a discount on it if you bought several issues at once or something like that. At least that's what I remember.

oh man, if you guys have not taken the time to look up more info about this book, i suggest you do. It has been on the TOP of my want/must eventually own books even before i got my first bluey.
Dont take our words for it, go find out as much as you can, and you will SO understand why this book is so pricey, yet so totally in demand.
