Hi everyone,

I am the proud and very new owner of an Eastern BTS. 'Her' name is Solar-Miranda. My mother, who professes she finds skinks creepy, insisted she have the second name

I was told at the pet shop, that as an educated guess, the skink was female. However I just saw 'her' poop. And if those are hemipenes, then all I can say is WOW. I wanted to ask if females have uh...stuff...that comes out as well, or is this a definite sign that Solar-Miranda has been named by a couple of cruel gender-bending ladies.

Haha exactly like that! So I guess we are cruel gender-bending ladies! I have to say, I didn't realise they would be quite so big! I think this smiley says it all.

haha,lizard perves,how big is your eastern,any chance of seeing a pic of him

im not sure with tiliqua,but some reptile species,the female con pop when they try everting to sex them,but females dont dangle out like a males,not sure females evert when pooping though

At a guess I'd say he's about 25 - 30 cm long? I do have pics, I will have to figure out how to post them. They are of him in his enclosure with his lovely pink flowers!

to post pics,dont use the quick reply,click on post reply,then u will see a highlighted section that says manage attatchments,click that,then there will be a bit that says browse,click that and it will take u to all your puter pics,so search for where the pics are u want and go from there,hope that helps
