I have to do a 12 hour drive to stay with my family for a couple months I am going to bring my BTS with me of course and was wanting to know how to travel with a baby BTS. I have a small travel cage that I can use but should I use that or just let her travel in the full tank (which I am bringing). What about heat? Please let me know soon.
This is my first BTS and first reptile so please be patient with me and give me all the knowledge that you want I am here to learn.

If the car will be warm / running then I wouldn't worry about heat. Just don't feed for a couple days prior, put them in a tupperware type tub / travel cage with towels and you should be fine. You can offer some sort of heat, but if the car will be warm I just wouldn't worry and wouldn't feed them for a few days before hand. If the outside temps are warm enough, it will be fine even if you stop for a couple hours for food etc. on the way.
I would keep her in something smaller than her usual home, with nothing hard that might move around. Towels work well for burrowing and keeping them feeling safe.
