Wow, so cool. :lovestruck: The babies seem very big compared to a Northern baby, are they much larger?

Yup - Hence the reason a shingle only has 2 bubs ;)

Thanks guys,

Now for the impatient wait to see what patterns they are going to have...

They can be huge - the orange one last year was twice the size of these! These are actually on the smaller side for shingle babies (and if you are using my hand as a measure please take into account I'm almost 2m tall :) ) The good thing with them being so big is that they are usually very hardy right from birth, and can stand up for themselves when kept with the group. The downside as Nae pointed out is that you only get 1 or 2 of them each time, and usually only every second year each female.

Thanks Nae! I know your little centralian is keeping you busy right now, but when you get ready to get a new pet let me know and I'll put one aside for you.

That Western is still hanging on? Wow!

I agree with Fatal - those are some of the best looking BTS out there. Congrats on the babies, they are huge and very nice looking!! That one especially is unbelievable, I hope we see more photos of it as it grows up. Thanks for sharing these, I love goldfields!

Gorgeous! I am jealous as usual. Can't wait to see how they develop now that I saw how last years turned out.
