Humidity and Temp
I just got my new BTS a couple of days ago and I've been having a problem with humidity and possibly temperature. During the day time I have the basking spot is about 100F-110F and the cool end is about 75F. Before the humidity was dipping below 20, so I decided to put a small rolled up towel soaked in water in the tank. It upped the humidity to about 25 during the day time. During night I have the basking area at about 80 and the cool end at about 60-70, but the humidity jumps all the way up to 50. I don't know if this is a problem or not, but I would like any advice on the temp and humidity to know if it is alright or not.

Re: Humidity and Temp
welcome!!
What species do you have? That makes a bit of difference for temps and humidity.
It should be just fine, I'd wait and see is he has any issues shedding. If he sheds fine then don't worry about the humidity. If after a few sheds it isn't always going perfectly, then you can try switching substrate to something that holds moisture better.
You don't need a basking area at night. If you have a Northern, then 60-70 at night is just fine. If you have an Indonesian species then a bit closer to 70 is preferable for night, but again - no heat gradient required.

Thank you for the welcome! The basking area at night was just meant to be for area reference, but I guess that doesn't matter too much. As for species, I don't really know. By looking on this website, I would believe an eastern, but I have no clue. I'll post some pictures. It is shedding pretty well I think, this is the first reptile that I have gotten so I don't know too much about that. It is in little scales, so I assume that is ok.

Re: Humidity and Temp
You have a gorgeous Indonesian - Tiliqua gigas gigas.
Ideally for that guy, you'd want the basking spot around 95 F, it doesn't need to be quite as high as 100 F. Nighttime temperatures shouldn't go below 65 F. If he has any issues with shedding you might want to try to raise the humidity a bit, but give him a couple sheds first and see. They do shed in pieces, just make sure when he sheds it all comes off. He will have no problem with high humidity. But everything sounds fine, for your first reptile you are off to a great start.
