I heard from someone that by giving a bts d3 and providing UVB light they could become poisoned by it...is that true?
Is there such thing as an "overdose"?
Thanks

Re: D3/UVB
It is possible for reptiles to get too much vitamin D3, however, I have never heard of a single case involving a bts. Even people who supplement with large amounts of calcium w/ D3 don't seem to have any problems at all. MANY people provide both UVB lighting AND D3 to their skinks.
While you want to use common sense about how much you give your skink, an overdose is not something that I would be overly worried about.
