I just measured the tank I have outside...not very good with measurements so I am not sure if these are right. It is a square tank. I thought it was bigger but apparently it is not. Probably only good for a baby skink.
Here are the measurements:
24" long
12" high
34" diagonal
24" width
What do you think? Is it good for now, for a baby? Would it be okay for an adult or way to small? I think it's too small for an adult right?

Re: Help with enclosure
Too small for an adult for sure, need to go with minimum of 36" long, preferable more like 48" or more. (The bigger the better)
You can look at some examples on the caresheet. Take your time and get a good tank along with everything you need, no need to rush.
Captive babies won't be born until spring anyway, unless you're going for a pet store baby.
But if needed I think it'd be OK for a baby for a short time, but the more space the better.

Re: Help with enclosure
Thanks, spring is good for me! lol That will give me enough time to save up a little extra cash. =D I want to try to avoid pet stores at all costs.
I will probably use this tank for a baby for a little while but get a new much bigger one (unless I can find a real cheap on with a lid on craigslist) when he starts growing. I know they are fast growers.
Edit: I will probably end up getting a 60 gallon tank off of craigslist. I just was browsing and saw some one has one for $80 and it comes with a couple supplies.

Re: Help with enclosure
Yeah, that is a bit small for sure. Definitely keep an eye on craigslist, you'll find good deals like the 60 gallon before baby season. They don't need a smaller tank as babies, as long as they have enough hides you can use as large as you want for a baby so you may as well get a big one rather than have a baby enclosure and then another one for the juvenile / adult bluey.
The floor space is what matters, I'd try to get at minimum 18" by 36", preferably closer to 24" by 48". Good luck!

Thanks, I've found lots of ads on craigslist. I'm definitely going to try and get a 60 gallon and most are for fairly cheap on CL. I am going to try and find some supplies too on there. =) Looks like I will be getting my skink around my birthday! Cool.
