I had NO plans on getting another BTS any time soon. But this was one of those opportunities that you just can't pass up.
I really DID get them so that these beautiful animals wouldn't just disappear into thin air, have no idea if I'll keep them. I really just got them so that they would be "available" to someone with a serious breeding project, either to borrow or buy.
This was such a spur of the moment thing, got in touch with Andrew on Monday, received the animals Tuesday evening. Been scrambling since Monday at full speed 24/7!!
But so fun. They are so awesome!
I'm sure I will come for advice on how to handle feisty skinks, 'cause I have a feeling you've got some experience there.

Promised pictures, here they come!
Merauke 1, suspected male. Sorry, not many shots of him. The other two are shedding, so I take them to the tub to soak from time to time, otherwise I try to leave them alone as much as possible. So, mostly I just leave this guy alone.
Merauke 2, Andrew suspected female, but I watched this one poop, and I’m now suspecting he’s a male. (Unless someone has seen ...”stuff”... come out of a female? I know it happens, but pretty rare, right?)
This is today, no flash:

Merauke 3, suspected female. Started shedding today. Has gone through an amazing color-change.

They are all so beautiful!!! I have an Eastern BTS and am unsure of his/her gender, im just wondering what "stuff" comes out that may indicate that it is a male?? When my one poops its just one dark poop, white stuff and some pee. As my one grows the more i suspect he is a she, only because she seems to be getting wider across the belly, and she looks like she has a small head, but this way i know is not at all an accurate way to tell sex.
