Hi again. Edmund is shedding, and I have a question about this shed. We've had no problems the first two times, but this time his little feet seem not to want to shed completely. We've made him stand in shallow water (though he is not happy about it) and still, after three days, we've got some skin to shed. It's mostly on his toes, with some on the top of two of his feet. I'm assuming he will work it off, but, since the first two times he shed all the skin seemed to nearly explode off of him in about 24 hours, I thought I would check with the community to make sure that everything is OK and that there isn't more that we should be doing.
Thanks for any help.
Best regards,
Eric

I had a similar issue with my BT but with his tail tip. He has shed everywhere but his tail tip, and it was not coming off. All i did was use a spray (from the pet shop to help reptiles shed) and sprayed it on to his tail, then sat with him and super super gently rubbed the tail, and sprayed, and rubbed and sprayed and rubbed. Very gently though, it was more like i was just running my fingers over his scales rather than a rub. and did it twice over two days so not to over rub the area.
But i am new to reptile ownership, so would wait for more advice before taking mine

Does he have rocks and branches to climb over? That's really helped with toe-sheds for me.
For right now, rub it gently, especially after a warm back. Don't force anything, but you can play with the feet a bit to get it off.
