On your list you said and exo terra terrarium for your 2 skinks. I just wanted to clarify that you are meaning 2, one for each, or if you plan on housing the skinks together. Just wanting to say they shouldn't be housed together. Also check kijjii for terrariums, you can find some good deals sometimes, you just have to make sure to clean and disinfect it well. Hope Santa gets you what you want. :)

It would be alot of maintenance and not sure how well it would stand up to a bigger reptile crawling around it and such. I guess it depends on how much work you want to do.

My husband is doing a custom build himself, building the water fall in the corner, that way he can hide the cords and such. I would worry about the skinks messing with the cord inside, but I am a bit paranoid lol. The waterfall he is doing isnt for a skink though. We are not sure what he is going to put in it. Its his first time building one.

Sorry about the cord I was rushing, and I just wanted to take the picture. Im pleased with it. It raises the humidity, I like the sound of the water running, he drinks the water, and its very pretty and fun to watch. It does make loud noises when it runs out of water which is extremely annoying. And gunk does get stuck in it and im trying to figure out how to get it out. Which is why im not using it right now. If I had a bigger cage and more money. I would buy a waterfall that leads into a small pool for him to cool off in and drink. It's funny watching him look at the water... He looks mesmerized.

Waterfalls are wonderful....nature's diuretic.
