Wild Baby Blotchies From 2008-2009.

Postby El Lobo » Sat Oct 15, 2011 12:15 am

There are a lot of new members since these were originally posted almost three years ago, so this is a re-visit.

We had three wild babies blotchies living behind a retaining wall about 4 meters from our door for a year. These are a few of the pics taken during that time.

Aaaaawwww!
I really am of two minds when it comes to "you guys" posting pictures of blotchies; I so love them and want them, but CAN'T! I HATE that!
By far my favorite BTS! They are SO cute and grumpy-looking at the same time! I LOVE IT!

Thanks for reposting these. It is great to see blueys in the wild. I hope you have new photos to add soon, especially of that little one with the jaw issue.

Their colors are gorgeous.

I love these pictures! I hope you get more this year too. For those of you outside of Australia and think you can't have a blotchie, don't be so sure. With recent breeding success in the U.S. there is a good chance that they will be available in the coming years. They will still be more expensive to acquire than the more common species for awhile, but the future looks pretty bright for us wannabe blotchie keepers.

 WHAT? Are you serious...? :puzzled:
:weirdo: The first one you see, the first thing you hear, if you so much as SMELL one single blotch, (...and I suppose ...after you're done hogging them all! :snooty: ) I'd better hear about it! MINE better be THE FIRST number you call! ...you know, after you've called James and Ray and Katrina and Zach and Alie and Cay and Mel and Brad and Pesky and all them, then after those calls, mine better be THE FIRST number you call!
