I would not trust it. Your skink will try to eat it. It could be poisonous.

We used to have a lot of clover around the house, and while they would walk through it, the wild shingles never ate it.

Therefore personally, I wouldn't trust anything not even a wild shingle would eat ;) (Especially considering what they do eat!)

Although Josh, Im curious, is clover actually poisonous? I used to eat it a lot as a kid (Dont ask, I dont even know....) and it tasted good, but its a bit startling to think I could have been eating something poisonous 0.0

Clover when fresh does not seem to present significant problems but it is when it ages and begins to spoil, formerly harmless properties become toxic. It's probably unlikely a BTS would eat it as it is more a food in moderation of herbivores but I would err on the side of caution and not make it available. Besides that, BTS' will make a mess with any live plant in their enclosures.

My shingles have managed to make a mess of their fake plants !! They sit on them.
I've seen both shingles eat fresh clover flowers; Sheba likes capeweed flowers, Solomon likes dandelion flowers. Having said this, they eat these fresh when out in the garden. Not a good idea to put in live plants, as El Lobo said.

the clover that grows here isnt poisonous, Litchie eats it and whenever you meet some "salad/eco-maniac" they will give you both soup and salad made of it and nettles.

though, not sure about the actual flower. i only fed fresh leaves. and as lobo said, if you have clover in the terrarium its gonna get old, and no veggie or salad is good spoiled xD

uuh, just so you know, i bought a very good fake plant for Litchie, but he climbs on top of it all the time and bends it, so if youre gonna buy something, make it sturdy! ( and watch so they cant fall and injury themselves)

i also know hibiscus isnt dangerous to eat, but they will massacrate them in a matter of seconds.

i know another plant that probably could work well with bts, i just need to google the english name( and the real swedish name), give me a while to find it u__u

I wouldn't be worried about clover, if ingested in large quantities it can interfere with reproductive cycles due to relatively high phyto oestrogen levels, then there is no way that a bluey would eat that much of it.
